1) Allan Gray Fellowship Programme for 2017 / 2018

Value of bursary University studies are covered by a full undergraduate scholarship that includes tuition, university residence and a book allowance as well as a monthly stipend.

Where can this bursary be used? Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Rhodes University, University of Cape Town, University of Johannesburg, University of Pretoria, University of the Witwatersrand (Wits)

Who can apply? School leavers wishing to pursue undergraduate studies in commerce at any of the following universities – University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), University of Johannesburg (UJ), University of Cape Town (UCT), Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU), Rhodes University (RU) or University of Pretoria (UP). Minimum C requirement for Mathematics Grade 12 results. Applicants must be citizens of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana or Swaziland.

2) AVI Degree Bursary for Comm and Eng (Study Trust) for 2017 / 2018

AboutListed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in the Food Products sector, and centered on the FMCG market, AVI’s extensive brand portfolio includes more than 53 brands; 33 owned brands and over 20 international brands under license.

Value R40,000 to R90,000 (max) p.a.

Tenable University of Johannesburg, University of KwaZulu Natal, University of Pretoria, University of the Witwatersrand (Wits)

Who can apply? SA citizens interested in full-time undergraduate Commerce studies at the University of Johannesburg, the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pretoria University and Wits University in the fields of Marketing and Finance. Only applicants with an NSC with degree endorsement and at least a level 5 rating (60%) for Mathematics and English First Additional Language, or Matric Exemption and a minimum ā€œCā€ symbol for Maths and English or an NSC will be considered. 2. SA citizens interested in Mechanical Engineering degree studies at the University of Johannesburg, the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pretoria University and Wits University. Only applicants with an NSC with degree endorsement and at least a level 5 rating (60%) for Mathematics, Physical Science and English First Additional Language, or Matric Exemption and a minimum ā€œCā€ symbol for Maths, Science and English will be considered.

3) City of Johannesburg for 2017 / 2018

Duration 1 year renewable annually

Who can apply? SA citizens who reside permanently in Johannesburg (need to provide proof), who wish to do full-time undergraduate studies in Commerce, Information Technology, Engineering, Quantity Surveying and Town Planning

4) Coronation Fund Bursary for 2017 / 2018

Who can apply? Only full-time undergraduate B Business Science or B Com studies in the fields of Accounting, Economics, Finance, Investment Management and Statistics will be sponsored. Only applicants with an NSC with degree endorsement and at least a level 6 rating (70%) for Mathematics and English will be considered. Preference given to candidates from Western Cape.

5) FNB Bursary for 2017 / 2018

About The FNB Fund Bursary Programme provides tertiary education access for learners who are academically capable but financially disadvantaged.

Who Can Apply Students must fall into one of the following fields of study: Commerce, Business Sciences or Engineering. For Science, 60% in Maths and English required, for Engineering and BSc, 60% in Maths, Physical Science and English required

Value R39,425 per annum
